Dear Mom,
I had fun in Taiwan. I will be flying home soon. The crazy broad I'm staying with never took me to San Francisco. For some reason, she seems to think that three little girls under two and a half, plus a job keep her kinda busy. She says I can stay and go to the city with her later, or come home. I'm trying to figure out my social calender so I can see how much I need to hurry. Frankly, the food here is pretty darn good, and I'm in no rush if I have no other engagements. Be in touch..

Dear Ellen-
I caught a flight home a couple days ago. There was a mix up that resulted in my detour around San Francisco in a BOX! Can you imagine the indiginity? I, personally, am horrified. Your "friend", Valerie, believed that I'd been sent on my way to your home before Christmas.. but alas, Michael had not mailed me. So, there I sat, in a box in your friends car for three weeks. Some friend. During that entire time I had nothing to eat, no libations, and no potty breaks. I was mistreated. And I'm horrified.
As soon as Valerie realized the miscommunication had occured, she immediately took me to a postal center and off I went to you.. still. You'd think she'd have more concern for a bear's well being.
I should be home very VERY soon. And Valerie has promised to send photos.. although, personally, I wouldn't trust her any further than I could throw her. Harrumph.
